 What is a Domain Name?

A Domain Name is nothing more than a name (chosen by you) to represent your Company or Personal Website, and is registered at an online registry database, displaying you as the owner of that domain name.

What is Hosting Space?

Hosting Space is a block of space that you 'rent' from a hosting server. When you setup an account with a hosting server you are assigned an IP Address - Username/Password and a block of space on that server. That designated block of space is then utilized by you to build a Website.

Each block of space is assigned an IP Address Location on the server.

Once your Registered Domain Name is connected to your 'Designated Rented Server Space' (IP Address), you have thus completely established an Internet presence.

What is a Hosting Server?

Hosting servers are heavy duty commercial computers built to run and sustain non-stop service capabilities. The servers contain hundreds of IP Addresses. They run the most advanced automated back up software available to assure 99.9 percent uptime to their hosting clients. Twin servers - side by side - with automated switch over capabilities from one server to another are commonly found at quality Hosting Companies such as TruckHosting.com. Automated Battery back up connected directly to all servers are ready for any electric outages that may occur along mother nature's way.

Your business uptime on the Internet is our main priority.

What's Pop E-Mail and how does it apply to me?

Pop E-Mail refers to an actual E-Mail Account which is set up for you automatically, along with your hosting account. Your Pop E-Mail account enables you to Send and Receive E-Mail via our Mail Server utilizing your own independent Domain Name.

Such as... (YourName@YourDomainName.com)

Depending on which package you choose when you set up your Hosting Account, you can have as many as 20 Pop E-Mail Accounts per/domain hosting account.

What is E-Mail Forwarding all about?

E-Mail forwarding means just that..where as you can forward E-Mail sent to (YourName@YourDomainName.com) to other E-Mail addresses 'outside' your Pop E-Mail Account.

At TruckHosting.com you have total access and control of your Mail Program, enabling you to forward (YourName@YourDomainName.com) over to another E-Mail Account, outside your domain, such as an AOL email account already in existence, or a hotmail account, etc.

What are Auto-Responders?

Auto-Responders are Pre-Set E-Mail Messages that are sent out automatically when E-Mail is received at specific E-Mail addresses. You setup and control messages and how they respond, in your Mail Program provided to you with your hosting account.

For instance, you could set up a reply message like,

"Thank You for Making Contact with our Company Website"

to automatically go out when someone sends mail to (info@YourDomainName.com)

TruckHosting.com gives you an unlimited amount of Auto-Responders to use in your daily business needs.

Where does the Freight come from, that I receive?

All freight is posted daily at our TrucksOnly.com website by those that have freight to move.
Brokers, Carriers with overflow freight, Manufacturers, Shippers and so on.
TruckHosting.com and TrucksOnly.com 'do not' do any posting of freight.
There are 'no databases' of freight either. All of the freight you receive is freight that is being posted 'fresh' daily. Keep an eye on the Subject line of your Freight Mail as the mail comes in, because the Subject Line will display the 'Type of Freight' that is inside that particular E-Mail freight posting.
